How Much Does It Cost To Hire you?
Prices vary depending on various factors from location, set lengths, performance. Please see the price guide for more details.
Is there a deposit required?
To secure bookings, a 25% deposit via bank transfer and signed contract is required.The balance should be settled via bank transfer a week before the event.
How long is it normal for you to play for?
Set times at drink receptions/wedding breakfasts are 2 x 35 minute sets over a one and a half hour period.I will also provide background music through my speaker during a short break in between sets.
What styles of music do you play?
I play a wide range of styles from soul, blues, jazz, popular, show tunes, Latin and commercial music. Listen to a selection of my music here.
Can I choose what you plays?
You can view my current repertoire here.I am happy to learn up to 4 requests in advance as long as they are appropriate on the saxophone.
Do you provide her own PA/sound system?
I provide all my own backing tracks and sound system.
What are your technical requirements and how much space do you need whilst performing?
For drink receptions/wedding breakfasts I require access to a standard UK 240V main power supply and a parking space close to the venue's entrance for unloading equipment.I will require a performance space of approximately 2m x 2m.I am happy to play outside as long as the performance area is sheltered from direct sunlight and potential rain. The sheltered area must be big enough to cover me, my instruments and the PA system.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT Testing?
I have Public Liability cover up to £1,000,000.All of my equipment is PAT tested. Certificates are available upon request.
How long does it take for you to set up?
I aim to arrive 30 minutes before my set, to set up and sound check.
Can I see you perform live?
I mainly perform at private functions.
Do you require refreshments?
I kindly ask to be provided with still bottled water whilst performing. If I am required at a venue for over a 3 hour period, I would appreciate a hot meal.
